E-mobility: Get rid of the purchase bonuses for e-cars – Economy

Promoting e-mobility with incentives alone has failed. The car companies themselves have to manage to build electric cars that are suitable for the masses. And it’s time to make combustion engines more expensive.

Some people may feel comfortable when everyone agrees. “We agree,” that sounds so wonderfully harmonious. There was strikingly often talk of unity after the car summit on Monday in the Chancellery. If you look a little more closely, this consensus is only intended to cover up the fact that the tree is really burning in Germany as a nation of cars. But the responsible politicians and company bosses continue to avoid concrete ideas on how to put out this fire. True to the motto: “I may not have a solution, but I admire the problem.”
