A deer was found decapitated in a meadow near Sinzing (Regensburg district) – it is the second case of this kind in the area since May. The animal was discovered over the weekend, the police said on Monday. The police assume that both deer were probably torn by a dog. The animals may have been beheaded to cover up the tear caused by a dog. Since both animals were mutilated in a similar way, the police suspect a connection between the incidents.
