Israel accuses Hamas of not respecting the truce
The truce which was to begin this morning at 6 a.m. between Israel and Hamas was not respected by the latter, an Israeli source told BFMTV.
Despite the agreement, rocket fire targeted Israeli villages this morning, according to the same source.

Airstrikes and rocket fire reported overnight
About two hours before the truce took effect, the director general of the Hamas administration’s Health Ministry, Mounir Al-Barsh, told AFP that Israeli soldiers were “conducting a raid in the Indonesian hospital” where 200 patients are still being treated.
Questioned by AFP, the Israeli army did not comment on the situation in this hospital but indicated that anti-rocket alarm sirens had sounded in a kibbutz on the edge of the Gaza Strip.
Hamas confirmed “a complete cessation of military activities” for four days, during which 50 hostages will be released, in return for each of the release of “three Palestinian prisoners”.
A first release of 13 hostages scheduled for 3 p.m. French time
The truce between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip is due to begin Friday morning, followed by the release of 13 hostages. “The humanitarian break will begin at 7 a.m. (5 a.m. French time) on Friday,” declared the spokesperson for the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Majed Al-Ansari, indicating that 13 women and children hostages held in the Gaza Strip would be released “at around 4 p.m. (3 p.m. in France) the same day.
Early Friday, an Egyptian security source told AFP that an Egyptian security delegation will be present in Jerusalem and Ramallah to ensure “compliance with the list” of released Palestinian prisoners.
Israeli security officials, accompanied by Red Cross personnel and Egyptian agents, will be deployed to the “Egyptian hall” of the Rafah border crossing to receive the hostages released from Gaza who will then fly from there. al-Arish airport to Israel, according to this source
Paris calls for implementation of Israel-Hamas agreement “without further delay”
