Digital café of the Vhs Southeast starts in Höhenkirchen-Siegertsbrunn – district of Munich

Anyone with questions about smartphones, tablets and the like is in the right place at an event on Wednesday, February 15, in Höhenkirchen-Siegertsbrunn. The first digital café of the Southeast Adult Education Center is taking place in the town hall in the meeting room there in cooperation with the Working Group on Living Together and the Outpatient Service for Senior Citizens (ASS). Volunteers will provide first aid there, especially for senior citizens, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. when using digital devices. But everyone else who has one or the other problem with their devices is also welcome. The offer is free. Registration is not required. As soon as the family center in the old pharmacy is completed, the digital café will move there. There will also be coffee and cake at the meeting, which will be provided by the working group and the senior citizens’ service. The voluntary helpers are trained and supervised by the adult education center. With the café, the existing range of courses is supplemented by a low-threshold advisory service. More volunteers are being sought. Contact persons include Christof Schulz (phone: 089/442 389 135, email: [email protected]) and Andreas Mayer (phone: 089/442 389 142, email: [email protected]) from the South East Adult Education Center. Other dates for the digital café include February 28, March 15, March 28, April 19, May 2 and May 17, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
