Diesel: After the BGH judgment, a new wave of lawsuits threatens – economy

Almost eight years after the diesel emissions scandal became known, the Federal Court of Justice (BGH) has now significantly lowered the hurdles for claims for damages. In connection with the so-called thermal windows, negligent action by the car manufacturer is already sufficient for compensation, the Karlsruhe court decided this Monday in a test case on the complaints of three diesel drivers against Mercedes, Audi and VW.
