Two men have become victims of robberies in recent days in anticipation of sexual favors. Both acts on Wednesday evening and Friday afternoon happened in front of shops on Nawiaskystrasse in Neuperlach. According to the police, a 43-year-old had arranged to meet a woman there on Wednesday around 8 p.m. whom he had previously met through an online classifieds portal.
But instead of a woman, there were two men waiting at the meeting point who attacked him with pepper spray and demanded the money the man was carrying. They fled with one hundred euros. The 43-year-old was slightly injured in the attack and had to be treated on an outpatient basis.
Due to the same procedure and location, the police assume there is a connection between the incidents on both days. On Friday afternoon, a middle-aged man had already arranged to meet a woman he said he had previously met on the street. He wasn’t expected by her either, but by two unknown people who sprayed irritant gas into his eyes and robbed him of a hundred euros.
The descriptions of the perpetrators in both cases are similar: The suspects are said to have been around 30 years old and around 1.75 to 1.80 meters tall. Both are said to have short black hair.
