More than 1 billion euros to complete the last section of line 15

A group of companies led by Bouygues Travaux Publics has won the design and construction of the second eastern section of the future metro line 15 of the Grand Paris Express, for 1.1 billion euros, the Société des grands Projets announced on Tuesday. (SGP).

“The total amount of this contract amounts to 1.087 billion euros for an underground section going from Saint-Denis – Pleyel to the Drancy – Bobigny station, which is scheduled to be put into service in 2031,” the company said in a press release. the SGP, formerly the Société du Grand Paris.

8 kilometers of tunnel and 4 new stations

Within the Iris group of companies, Bouygues Travaux Publics will lead the part concerning the stations and tunnels, while Colas Rail has been mandated to oversee the systems and Egis the integrated project management.

This contract includes the design and construction of 8 kilometers of tunnel, 4 new stations (Stade de France, Mairie d’Aubervilliers, Fort d’Aubervilliers, Drancy – Bobigny), spaces dedicated to line 15 within the station Saint-Denis – Pleyel, 6 service structures and a tunnel structure.

675,000 Ile-de-France residents affected

“It makes it possible to finalize works for which the civil engineering has previously been carried out”, including the development of 2.5 km of tunnel, the underground box of the Stade de France station and “3 service works”, adds the press release. It also includes two real estate projects “directly integrated” with the Mairie d’Aubervilliers and Drancy – Bobigny stations.

“Ultimately, line 15 East will significantly improve the mobility of 675,000 Ile-de-France residents and contribute to the attractiveness of this area,” welcomed the Iris group in a separate press release.

“The last design-construction contract for line 15, concerning the 2nd section of line 15 West, from Courbevoie to Saint-Ouen, should be notified by summer 2024,” adds the SGP.
