The Minister of the Interior described the comments made by participants in the mobilization for International Women’s Day as “scandalous”.

Gérald Darmanin decided on Sunday to take legal action after calls to kill police officers heard during the feminist demonstration on March 8 in Paris. “Kerosene is not for planes, it’s for burning cops”protesters chanted during this rally as part of International Women’s Day.
