A little girl lost her life after a man burst into the girl’s house while fleeing a gunman. The pursuer fired through the half-open door, hitting the child.

Police have arrested another suspect after killing a nine-year-old girl in Liverpool. The 33-year-old is suspected of murder and attempted murder twice, police said in the northern English city on Friday evening. He will now be interrogated. The police had previously arrested a 36-year-old man on the same suspicion.

The child was shot dead a week ago when a man, fleeing a gunman, stormed into the girl’s house. The pursuer fired through the half-open door. A bullet injured the mother’s wrist and hit the nine-year-old in the chest. The case had caused outrage across the country.

The 46-year-old woman has since been released from the hospital. The suspect was seriously injured and is still in a hospital. He is then behind bars for violating the terms of his probation. Like the suspects, he has no connection to the family, the police emphasized. It is probably a dispute within the Liverpool underworld.
