Covid-19 – Two more deaths in 24 hours in the Pyrénées-Orientales

Update on the health situation in Aude and the Pyrénées-Orientales this Tuesday, November 30 with the daily figures published by Public Health France.

In the Pyrénées-Orientales, the incidence rate continues to increase to rise on Tuesday, November 30, to 351.8 cases per 100,000 inhabitants (sliding week from November 21 to 27). On Monday, the rate had reached 329.4 cases per 100,000 inhabitants marking a strong rebound from Sunday’s figures.

The department must also deplore two additional deaths from Covid-19 in the past 24 hours, for the second day in a row. The toll has thus risen to 433 victims since the start of the epidemic.

115 Covid patients are currently treated at Perpignan hospital (-3 in 24 hours). Among them, ten of them are placed in intensive care on Tuesday.

In Aude, the incidence rate climbs to 211.4 cases per 100,000 inhabitants on Tuesday evening (sliding week from November 21 to 27).

The results have not changed in the department with 416 victims of the Covid since the start of the epidemic. On the other hand, the number of hospitalizations decreased slightly and fell to 50 people in care (-2) on Tuesday, November 30. Nine patients are in intensive care in Aude hospitals, an additional entry in 24 hours.
