The incidence is falling for the first time since the beginning of July
The seven-day incidence fell for the first time since early July. According to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), it is 74.8 – the previous day the value was 75.8, a week ago 58.0. The health authorities in Germany reported 5,750 new corona infections to the RKI within one day. This is evident from the numbers that reflect the status of the RKI dashboard at 4:10 a.m. A week ago, the value for Germany was 5747 infections. According to the new information, 60 deaths were recorded across Germany within 24 hours. A week ago there were 42 deaths.
The RKI has counted 3,942,856 detected infections with Sars-CoV-2 since the beginning of the pandemic. The actual total number is likely to be significantly higher, as many infections are not detected. The RKI stated the number of those who had recovered at 3,738,000. The number of people who died with or with a proven infection with Sars-CoV-2 rose to 92,200.

Vaccination status of employees: Spahn is considering changing the law
Federal Minister of Health Jens Spahn can imagine that employers can ask employees about their corona vaccination status. USA: No vaccination deaths from myocarditis
In the United States, there have been no deaths in young adults due to myocarditis after a Covid-19 vaccination, the CDC said. So far, 2574 suspected cases of the known side effect of the BioNTech / Pfizer and Moderna vaccines have been reported in the USA, of which 1282 occurred after the BioNTech / Pfizer vaccines and 557 after the Moderna vaccine. A death from myocarditis related to a BioNTech / Pfizer vaccination is currently being investigated in New Zealand.

Schoolchildren are asking for an additional billion euros for air filters
The Federal Schoolchildren’s Conference is calling for an additional billion euros for air filters and is urging nationwide vaccination offers in schools. “The federal government has so far passed an aid package of 200 million euros for air filters, this bill is nowhere near going to work,” said the general secretary of the federal student conference, Dario Schramm, of the editorial network in Germany. “We therefore demand an additional billion euros for the purchase of filters.” The federal government should bear the majority of the costs in order to relieve the municipalities.
In order to be able to return to normal in schools as quickly as possible, the pupils also request uncomplicated vaccination offers. A significant expansion of awareness-raising and information campaigns within the schools as well as on-site vaccination vehicles is necessary.
