He refused a corona test: Robert Atzorn and Uschi Glas should be on stage together. But nothing came of it. Glass gives way to your displeasure.

They should have been on the theater stage together in Munich last March: Uschi Glas and Robert Atzorn were engaged for the two-person play “Love Letters” in the comedy in the Bayerischer Hof. But nothing came of the premiere. Apparently, Atzorn’s refusal to take a corona test was the reason.

That’s what Glas claims in the podcast “19 – the boss visit”. In an interview with the head of the Essen University Hospital, Professor Jochen A. Werner, the actress reports that Atzorn behaved impossibly when a corona test was required. “I’m not going to be tested,” he is said to have shouted. He screamed “and his personality changed so much. I couldn’t believe that this is the colleague I think is good,” says Glas. A vaccination was also out of the question for Atzorn.

Robert Atzorn is silent on Uschi Glas allegations

The then director of the comedy confirms the incident. “It is correct that Robert Atzorn did not want to be vaccinated,” said Thomas Pekny of the “Bild” newspaper. The actor did not want to be tested either. “I don’t know whether he took a test at home before the rehearsals began.” The theater confirmed that all actors should have had a negative corona test. Atzorn himself is silent on the allegations. The 76-year-old left a request from the newspaper unanswered.

The rehearsals for “Love Letters” had to be stopped because Glas refused to play with the untested Atzorn. The piece never made it into the program. It is not yet clear whether it will be included in the schedule again. But then probably not together with Glas and Atzorn. “I won’t even do half a day of shooting with him,” says acting icon Glas. The comedy in the Bayerischer Hof promises: “If she insists on playing the piece, we will find her a new partner.”
