On Friday (January 19th), Cora Schumacher went to the jungle camp highly motivated alongside actor Heinz Hoenig and talked openly around the campfire about ex Ralf Schumacher and the affair with Oliver Pocher. But the big surprise came on Sunday evening: when the live announcement was made, only eleven candidates were sitting around the campfire. Sonja Zietlow explained that Cora had decided to leave the show. That night she had the famous sentence “I’m a star – get me out of here!” said.

She explained on her Instagram story: “According to my medical assessment I have laryngitis, I have a very bad cough. […] Health comes first.” As can be clearly heard, the trash TV actress actually barely has a voice and has to visibly exert herself when speaking.

Dr. Bob is skeptical: “It’s the case that Cora left voluntarily because she didn’t feel fit enough. My colleagues examined her every day, she was fit enough, there was no medical reason to leave.”

But even two days after moving out, the jungle camper maintained that she was unable to continue taking part in the show for health reasons. That’s why she even went to a clinic for an examination. “The health and safety of our stars is always the highest priority, whether in the camp or in the hotel,” explains RTL to “Picture“. “In the camp, a team of doctors is available around the clock and at any time if necessary. Because Cora Schumacher is currently staying at the Hotel ‘Imperial’, we sent her for a follow-up examination.”
The result has now been determined and it is surprising. RTL reports: “Here, too, no different medical assessment was made. The fact remains that there are no medical reasons for Cora Schumacher to move out.”

That could cause a lot of trouble. If Schumacher’s ex was actually in such poor health that she was no longer able to participate, she would be paid her full fee. However, if this is not the case, then Cora would have to forgo part of the money according to her contract. She told “t-online”: “You don’t talk about money. But I will consult with my family doctor again because it was a medical emergency that made me have to cancel. It’s not like that I didn’t feel like it anymore.”
How “Picture” reports, the first installment of 20 percent of the agreed fee was transferred when the contract was signed. The next 20 percent was given to everyone upon arrival in Australia. A further 25 percent is available if they are regularly voted out of the show by the viewers in the voting – which was not the case with Cora Schumacher. When asked by AZ, RTL said: “We generally do not comment on fees and other contractual details.”

After they move out, the celebrity candidates are usually driven directly to the Versace Hotel, where the accompanying persons also live. But Cora Schumacher is said to have been taken to secret accommodation first. What’s behind it? A spokeswoman for RTL explains in the AZ: “After each voluntary departure of a star from the camp, an individual decision is made about how to proceed. In the case of Cora Schumacher, she was taken to a hotel where she could rest and take time for herself could.” Only after a day was she allowed into the Versace Hotel.

Is there a secret plan behind Cora Schumacher’s jungle camp bankruptcy and was her health just an excuse? It is clear that the 47-year-old generated the most media attention in the TV show. She spoke about her relationship with ex-husband Ralf Schumacher and son David – and revealed an affair with comedian Oliver Pocher.
The AZ spoke to former jungle camp candidates about the possible reasons. Verena Kerth, for example, believes that Cora Schumacher is pursuing a plan: “It’s clear to me that Cora coordinated with Oli Pocher in advance. It was probably all planned that way.” Désirée Nick also suspects that it wasn’t the 47-year-old’s health that caused her premature exit from the jungle: “The story with Oliver Pocher ensures that she gets attention. She knows that. That’s enough for her. She doesn’t have any more to tell and therefore left the show.”
If there actually was a secret agreement with Oliver Pocher, Cora Schumacher plays her role very well. After moving out of the jungle camp, she reacted for the first time to the headlines surrounding the affair and made it clear: “I don’t need Oliver Pocher. I don’t need his headlines, I don’t need his money. I have enough headlines from the jungle camp.”

According to information from “Bild”, Mallorca singer Tim Toupet is waiting on the substitutes’ bench to play. Ex-Playmate Cathy Lugner is also said to have traveled to Australia.
