Cooking prodigy Naïs Pirollet joins three-star chef Anne-Sophie Pic

“September 2023 will mark the beginning of a new chapter”. A little genius in the kitchen, Naïs Pirollet, who represented France at the last Bocuse d’Or, will now continue his apprenticeship near Valence, in the kitchens of Maison Pic. The young woman announced on her Instagram account on Friday that she was going to join the three-starred chef Anne-Sophie Pic, whose “very unique cuisine” she salutes.

“One can only be inspired,” she stresses, adding that she wants to be “inspired by techniques that are both traditional and innovative”. Their collaboration will begin on September 11.

“Today it is a source of great pride for me and for the Pic house to be chosen by young talents who are interested in my cuisine, my sensitivity and the values ​​of our group”, rejoiced the interested.

Last January, Naïs Pirollet, the first woman to wear the colors of France at the Bocuse d’Or, finished in fifth place in the competition of which she was the youngest. She had notably distinguished herself by winning the prize for the best menu for children. A menu which was then declined in the canteens of Lyon.

A graduate of the Paul-Bocuse Institute, from which she graduated top of her class in 2017, the young woman began her career alongside Davy Tissot, winner of the Bocuse d’Or in 2021.
