Comments on FC Bayern’s defeat in Bochum: “It wasn’t deserved” – Sport

Thomas Tuchel, coach FC Bayern, at Dazn: “I don’t think today’s defeat was fair, a lot went against us. We had four, five, six top-class chances, we dominated the game and fell behind out of nowhere. I feel today’s defeat is different than the last ones Both of them. That wasn’t deserved.”

“The ‘how’ is crucial and the ‘how’ was okay today. We were extremely unlucky, so today’s 90 minutes are different from the second half at Lazio and also from parts of the game against Leverkusen. A bit of Murphy’s Law applied today – Whatever could go wrong, has gone wrong.”

Leon Goretzka, FC Bayern player, on Dazn: “It feels like a horror film that doesn’t stop. At the end of the day, it’s individual mistakes that we make – and too many of them. At the moment, I think we have to question everything.”

Jan-Christian Dreesen, CEO of FC Bayern: “I don’t believe in these monstrous statements of support for coaches. I know what they want to hear, but these oaths of loyalty are over after a week. That’s why I’m saying it in my own way. That’s not an issue at the moment “Let’s keep ourselves busy. We have to concentrate on the next games.”

… when asked whether Tuchel would be on the bench against Leipzig on Saturday: “Of course.”
