Get some fresh air at the train station: For a couple of parents, the break becomes a stress test when the train with their children sets off without them.

A train left Bavaria without a married couple – the three of them were on board been the couple’s children. The family was traveling in a regional express on Tuesday when the 40-year-old father and 42-year-old mother got off briefly at Regensburg main station. According to the Federal Police’s announcement on Wednesday, a delayed departure was announced when the train was announced, which is why the two of them were on the platform.

When the train left, the parents were no longer able to open the train doors and get on, it said. As a result, they panicked. Two federal police officers who were on the train after work took care of the sleeping children between the ages of one and six. A federal police patrol drove the couple to Schwandorf train station, where the family was reunited.

It was initially unclear why the two got off the train and whether it left on time.
