Christian Estrosi wants to establish a curfew for young people

23 hour permission for the youngest in Nice. And it is not your parents or Pascal the big brother who orders it but soon Christian Estrosi (Horizons), the mayor of Nice.

Guest this Tuesday morning on BFM TV, Christian Estrosi indicated that he wanted to put back in place for minors the curfew already imagined in 2009. At the time, the mayor of Nice was still in the UMP and Minister of Industry. He had issued a decree validated by the prefect of the Alpes-Maritimes which provided for the ban on young people under the age of 13 from going out without an adult between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday – eve of rest days for them – as well as during all school holidays. This time he plans to extend the ban to those under 14 or 15 years old.

On Monday, Robert Ménard (ex-RN) took the same measure in his town of Béziers where he is mayor. A curfew already reimposed ten years ago by the Council of State but which this time only concerns the ““Priority Neighborhoods” perimeters” which bring together the city center and two peripheral areas.
