Children are inquisitive and full of energy. For the adults looking after them, whether parents, grandparents or aunts and uncles, this means: A varied program is needed. Children’s games are ideal for this because they already offer meaningful concepts for employment.
Games offer a compact pastime for the little ones in the family. From the age of four, children already play cooperatively and understand games with simple rules. The selection of suitable games is already large at this young age, there are card, board and action games that promote togetherness. Children learn the first rules of the game and implement them. However, the attention span of the little ones is not long, the games should not last longer than 15 to 20 minutes. It also exercises children’s patience while playing. The benefit of children’s games from the age of four also varies and so different types of games should alternate. Skill, social interaction, logical thinking and the ability to react and concentrate can be trained. Even a first understanding of numbers, shapes and quantities is learned in a playful way.
