Janet Jackson, 57, singer, mucks out. She has auctioned more than 800 items from her personal collection of costumes, jewellery, trophies and other items. A highlight of Sunday’s auction in New York was her silver Aston Martin Vanquish, model year 2003. The British sports car achieved more than 92,000 dollars (around 85,000 euros), as announced by the auction house Julien’s Auctions. Thousands of collectors and fans from all over the world bid online and on the phone. Part of the proceeds will go to a children’s charity.

Josh Freese50, drummer, is the newcomer to the Foo Fighters. Freese takes the place of drummer Taylor Hawkins, who died in March 2022, the rock band announced. Freese previously played with artists and bands such as The Vandals, Devo, Danny Elfman, Nine Inch Nails, Sting and offspring. The band has announced a new album, “But Here We Are”, for June 2nd – the first since the death of Hawkins, who was found lifeless in a hotel room in the Colombian capital of Bogotá while on tour in March last year.
