Iris Klein had to leave “Celebrity Big Brother” on Friday evening. An emotional farewell followed, which even made Peter Klein cry.
The open marital drama between Iris and Peter Klein is at least in the “Celebrity Big Brother” story: In this year’s season of the Sat.1 show, Iris Klein (56) was voted out by the viewers on Friday evening. Her husband Peter Klein (56), however, remains in the TV container, which is used to say goodbye to him The former dream woman even shed a few tears. In the twelfth live show, three people were initially on the so-called exit list: Matthias Mangiapane (40), Marco Rumpf (21) and Iris Klein.
However, it became clear during the broadcast that Schlitzer would not have to leave the show. The viewers still had to decide between Mangiapane and Klein. In the end, Daniela Katzenberger’s (37) mother got the fewest votes from the audience and had to leave “Celebrity Big Brother” that evening.
Iris Klein: “I’m leaving here as a crybaby”
After the decision was made, Klein said a warm goodbye to her roommates. Surprising: Even the temporary goodbye with her estranged husband was, to everyone’s amazement, intimate, friendly and almost loving. No trace of bad blood. The two held each other for a long time and Peter was visibly touched by the farewell and shed a few tears.
After her exit, Iris Klein spoke to presenter Jochen Schropp (45) about her time in the container. She is doing great and is now particularly looking forward to tomorrow’s Christmas market and a bratwurst. With regard to Peter Klein, she announced a meeting soon when “Celebrity Big Brother” closes its doors again: “I think we will meet again outside, privately, one-on-one.”
Also in an interview with the Sat.1 social media team, which was subsequently published on the station’s official Instagram account, it became emotional. Iris Klein answers some questions while crying. “I’m coming out of here as a crybaby. Sometimes I just can’t control my emotions,” Klein said into the camera. Her farewell to Peter was “very nice”.
