Borussia Dortmund started the season with an impressive success against Eintracht Frankfurt. Attacker Erling Haaland is the man of the evening. BVB coach Marco Rose celebrated an almost perfect debut.
What a meaning that Erling Haaland has hardly to be named Borussia Dortmund he was able to prove last season. Against Eintracht Frankfurt the Norwegian attacker continued where he left off at the start of the BVB season. In the spectacular 5: 2 (3: 1) against Eintracht Frankfurt, the Dortmund attacker scored two goals himself and was directly involved in the other three. Haaland gave his new coach Marco Rose an almost perfect debut. And at the same time underscored the title ambitions of the traditional Westphalian club.
Right from the start, the Dortmund team didn’t want to leave any doubts that they wanted to dominate this game. Frankfurt comes out of the cabin in a more organized manner

But the Borussia did not stop there.
Who else besides Haaland completed a counterattack after 72 minutes to make it 5-1. His 62nd goal in the 61st competitive game for BVB. The second goal of the Frankfurt team by Jens Hauge four minutes before the end was only cosmetic result of the completely overwhelmed Frankfurters.
