After two games without a win in the Bundesliga, 1. FC Köln want to pick up three points again – but that will be difficult enough! On Saturday (October 1, 2022, 3.30 p.m.) Borussia Dortmund will be visiting the Rhein-Energie-Stadion.
The two ex-FC players Salih Özcan (24) and Anthony Modeste (34) are also returning to Cologne with BVB. Especially for the latter there shouldn’t be a very warm reception.

3:25 p.m.: Harm Osmers (Hanover) is the referee for today’s match. The 37-year-old has already officiated five FC games in the Bundesliga, of which Cologne have only won one.
3:20 p.m.: Before the game on the Sky microphone, Baumgart said about Özcan and Modeste: “We are happy that they are here, they have done a lot for FC for a long time. I am happy to see them again and I hope they are too.”
3:15 p.m.: FC has been waiting for a home win against BVB for almost seven years. In December 2015, Cologne won 2-1 against the Black and Yellows – thanks to a goal from Anthony Modeste in the 90th minute!
