Broker photos from hell: between Messi shack and penis hedges

The small hallway looks spacious, the bare front garden leaves room for your own ideas and the bathroom, which was last renovated in the 1970s, exudes retro charm: Real estate agents can also sell the last structural mistake and bad architectural wanderings as an individual note.

The skillful guild not only conceals defects behind polished sentences, but also with advantageous photos. Suddenly the tiny stairwell looks large and inviting. Or the bathroom without a window looks like a spa.

But not every broker is also a clever photo professional. Andy Donaldson already proved this when he presented his book “Broker Photos from Hell” in 2015. At that time he was looking for a flat in London and stumbled upon bizarre photos and absurd perspectives. A second illustrated book was published in 2019 that documents the optical derailments.
