The start of the 2023 school year was marked by the suicide of a teenager on Tuesday in Poissy. The 15-year-old boy was bullied last school year. First lady Brigitte Macron will visit her family on Thursday, government spokesman Olivier Véran announced.
“When a 15-year-old child comes to no longer consider any other solution than that of killing, it is an emotion that forces us all,” said Olivier Véran on France Inter. Brigitte Macron has made the fight against school bullying one of her battles.
