Hof Regional Court: No compensation in the “Peggy” case – Bavaria

The mother of the murdered nine-year-old wanted 75,000 euros from a man who claimed to have buried the lifeless child in a forest. To no avail.

This time, neither the defendant Manuel S. appeared in person at the Hof regional court, nor the person suing for compensation, Peggy K’s mother. Both are represented by a lawyer. And everything actually happens very quickly on this second day of negotiations, faster than most people would have expected. Matthias Goers, chairman of the 2nd Civil Chamber, only needs 14 minutes to end this procedure. The result: Susanne K., the mother of Peggy, who was allegedly killed in 2001, is not entitled to compensation.
