General meetings of German corporations are usually similar to the elections to the former GDR People’s Chamber. With the exception of outliers, board members or supervisory boards can almost automatically count on 100% relief at the annual shareholders’ meeting. The shareholders also usually accept the proposals of the management with 97 to 98 percent approval.
