Bosch presents good figures – and yet the economy is in crisis

Robert Bosch, founder of what is now the largest automotive supplier in the world, once said that he would rather lose money than trust. Today, Bosch also makes money with tools, refrigerators and heat pumps. The foundation company attaches great importance to presenting itself as social and responsible. Since Bosch is not listed on the stock exchange, the Stuttgart-based company does not have to please shareholders who insist on high profit margins and returns.
