Chancellor Angela Merkel is traveling to Washington next week to meet US President Joe Biden. What is the German economy doing? It is pooling its strengths and launching a cross-economic initiative, the “Transatlantic Business Initiative”. With this initiative we would like to contribute to the opening of a new chapter in transatlantic economic relations. We develop concrete political proposals for the transatlantic interaction in the field of trade and climate policy, on questions of digitization and data economy as well as on the subject of corporate finance.
