A student fell nine meters in a high ropes course in the Allgäu in front of his classmates. The 13-year-old suffered moderate injuries, police said on Thursday. The boy was on Wednesday with his school class in the climbing garden near Burgberg im Allgäu (Oberallgäu district).
After the instruction, the students climbed the high ropes course independently. The 13-year-old hung out both carabiners on a platform. As a result, he no longer had a backup at a height of about nine meters. He fell off this platform in front of the class and had to be taken to a clinic by rescue helicopter.
