Ryan Reynolds not only stars in Deadpool & Wolverine, but he also co-wrote the screenplay. He had a special idea that made “Deadpool” a dog fan.

In the upcoming Marvel film adaptation “Deadpool & Wolverine,” a supporting actress could steal the show from the title heroes. Like “Deadpool” actor Ryan Reynolds As revealed to Empire magazine, there’s a new addition to the cast: “Her real name is Peggy and she won the award for Britain’s ugliest dog,” says Reynolds. “The reason I was a big supporter of her was because she feels like the animal manifestation of Wade Wilson.”

Unsurprisingly, Reynolds says of Deadpool as a dog owner: “It’s love at first sight. He loves Dogpool.” The actor co-wrote the “Deadpool & Wolverine” screenplay and describes the process this way: “It was, like many things during the writing process, a tiny little afterthought that grew. It was one of those things where you just follow the film continued listening, and Dogpool became a fixture.”

He is likely to meet various characters from previous Marvel films in the film. In Germany, “Deadpool & Wolverine” with Ryan Reynolds and the ugliest dog in Great Britain will be released in cinemas on July 24, 2024.
