Emmy offends again

Emmy Russ barely survived the last episode, now she is facing the abyss again in “Battle of the Reality Stars”.

What’s going on in the sixth episode of “Battle of the Reality Stars” (Wednesday, 8:15 p.m. on RTLzwei, also on RTL+)? Emmy Russ (23) is suddenly tame. In the last week she was on the brink of being eliminated after a stinky finger. But their niceness is just a front, the Sala chick admits.

Jéssica Sulikowski (28) is washed ashore. In “Berlin – Day & Night” she played a nasty snake, privately she is quite nice. At least that’s what the reality debutante says. Reeperbahn gentleman Daniel Schmidt (39) is happy about fresh meat.

“Nice piece of DNA”: twin battle in “Battle of the Reality Stars”

Then comes an actor from the “Berlin – Day & Night” competitor: Jay Sirtl (45) from “Cologne 50677”. Another Sirtl? Exactly, Jay is Sascha’s four minutes older identical twin. He describes his brother as a “great piece of DNA” and a debate about envy has started.

Unlike the Jakic twins (25) in the last season, the Sirtls do not count as one person, but fight each other for victory.

In the punishment game, the brother rivalry is already boiling. The reality stars have to rank themselves, by fee or the time of the request for the show. Jay is irritated that his brother earns more than he does. Sarah Knappik (36) negotiated best. She was also the first to be asked.

The candidates only have four rankings correctly. As punishment, all but four stars must carry sandbags. The bigger the fee, the heavier the burden. Serkan Yavuz (29) has a good laugh here with his 1 euro fee.

Wall of truth goes to substance and professional honor

There is a tightening on the wall of truth today. This time, the stars don’t have to anticipate the audience’s vote, but put themselves in an order: Who is the best reality star?

Of course, that goes to professional honor. And of course it is a matter of definition. Every star promotes himself, especially those who primarily earn money on TV position themselves. Emmy rightly argues that rioting is also part of the craft. Eva Benetatou (31) then allegedly laughs at her. At least that’s how Emmy interprets it. The first step in an argument that will determine the rest of the episode.

First of all, however, the candidates are suitable for awarding Sascha and Matthias Mangiapane (39) as the best in their field. Sascha as a pioneer who endured one 365 at “Big Brother”. And Matthias as one of the masters of his trade, who has already spiced up every format. The latter is moved to tears at the recognition of his art.

Daniel falls victim to the excess of men

As a “reward”, Sascha and Matthias are allowed to make a decision. You must eliminate one competitor out of turn and effective immediately. The two men declared that they want to counteract the excess of men in the sala. They choose Daniel as one of the strongest competitors.

That means: With the Reeperbahnwirt, Emmy loses her last ally. Her argument with Eva comes to a head. Emmy describes the competitors as “cowardly” because they didn’t want to admit that they laughed at them. She later called Eva a “bully”, which hits her particularly hard. After all, she once became a victim of the whole pack in the “Summer House of the Stars”. Emmy now feels that way too, since no one is on her side anymore.

There’s only one chance for Emmy now. She needs to get the win in the safety game. She claws the good-natured ex-soccer player Nico Patschinksi (46) as a partner. In the first round of “Wer stehlt mir den Po” (Wer stole my Po) the odd pair advances because Nico scores in a gap text with “Po…” words. But it’s over in round two. The stars have to get into a boxing ring in pairs and tear a shield off their opponent’s behind. Emmy, who is not exactly tall, has no chance against Bernd Kieckhäben (33). Bernd and his teammate Serkan also prevail in the final and are safe.

Consequential decision in the week of truth – and a shock

In the moment of truth, there should be no surprise this time. Emmy is clearly on the hit list. But that’s what you thought in the last episode, too, and she got away with it. But she learned nothing from it. But this time it’s due. Not only Eva, but also the actually benevolent Serkan and Bernd give her their coin.

Now Emmy bursts into tears. Her protective armor, which she cited as the reason she didn’t warm up to everyone, is breaking. She even apologizes. But in the individual interview afterwards, the tank is back in place. She describes her roommates as the “wrongest people ever” who should “never have more success in life”.

After the expected decision against Emmy, the episode ends with a little surprise. The newcomers Jessica and Jay clear Paul Janke (41) from the field without justification.
