Who will win the prestigious Ballon d’Or? For Kevin de Bruyne, Robert Lewandowski has the lead this year.
The Belgian international Kevin de Bruyne from Manchester City has confirmed that Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski would have deserved the most to win the Ballon d’Or 2021.
“If I have to decide, I look at the period of the last two years. With us (Manchester City, editor’s note), nobody is an option, so I would choose Lewandowski,” said the 30-year-old on the Press conference before the Champions League game against Club Bruges (Tuesday, 6.45 p.m. on LIVE-TICKER).

According to de Bruyne, the decisive factor for his choice was “what he has achieved in the last two years – both in terms of goal scoring and his successes with Bayern. I think he would be my favorite.”
The prestigious prize will be awarded in a few weeks at a ceremony in Paris. Recently had the French sports newspaper France Football the 30 nominees announced.
