Average audiences for the game of TF1 … The fault of a season without surprises?

Remember. Two years ago, France vibrated every week to the rhythm of Koh Lanta, which recorded audience records. Admittedly, we didn’t have much else to do at the time, confined to our homes all spring… But in comparison, the current season seems pretty pale.

On the audience side, Tuesday evening, the game gathered 3.6 million faithful (16.6% of the public) in the first part of the evening, and 3.2 (19.7%) in the second, reports The Parisian. Last week, it attracted 3.8 million viewers (17.6%) then 3.2 million (19.7%) in the second part of the evening. Reasonable audiences but not extraordinary either. But this season is not super crazy, right?

After a very very calm first phase of the game and with far too many candidates, we expected a more interesting reunification, with its share of twists and turns. But the weeks go by and the monotony remains, as well as more than predictable episodes. Without big surprises, the “strong” (the former reds) eliminate one by one their adversaries, who despite their good will cannot do much about it. Without forgetting an almost absolute domination of the events by the same candidates, led by François who flies over the games and does not seem a little proud of it. But where is the suspense hiding? Do you also have the impression of watching the same episode every week?

You are a fan of Koh Lanta and yet this season can’t hang on to you? What do you complain about this edition? A cursed totem not cursed enough? Too oily and predictable game mechanics? Very (too) athletic candidates with similar profiles? Are you bored this year and need to verbalize it? Tell us everything in the form below!
