This Tuesday morning, a shooting occurred in a school in the suburbs of Helsinki, the Finnish capital, local police reported in a press release.
Three minor injuries
From what little information we have, the shooting took place at the Viertola school in Vantaa, a town near Helsinki. Finnish police report that one person has been arrested. “All the people involved in the shooting are minors,” assures the police, specifying that “there are three injured”.
Viertola Elementary School is a school complex that serves approximately 800 students from grades 1 to 9 across two different sites.
