Four children and three adults were injured in a traffic accident in Aschheim near Munich. On the night of Saturday, the vehicle of a 37-year-old, who was traveling with his wife and three children, got into the oncoming lane. There the family collided with the oncoming car of a 49-year-old who had two children with him. Police say the cause is still unclear.
The 37-year-old, his wife and their three children aged five, three and two years were injured in the impact. The 49-year-old driver of the other car and his 11-year-old child were also injured. Only the second child of the 49-year-old, aged ten, remained unharmed.
The police were initially unable to provide any reliable information on the severity of the injuries. All seven injured were taken to hospitals, the woman with a rescue helicopter.
