Are you one of the people evacuated by the authorities? Tell us about your experience

The violence of the fighting jeopardizes the security of the inhabitants of Sudan. Many countries have therefore decided to organize evacuations this weekend in order to repatriate their nationals. According to the head of European diplomacy Josep Borrell, more than 1,000 EU nationals have been evacuated from Sudan.

Among them, 400 French nationals and multiple European but also African nationalities were evacuated by France thanks to several air rotations between Khartoum and Djibouti, announced Monday morning the French Minister of Foreign Affairs. “All State services remain fully mobilized to ensure new evacuations as soon as possible”, underlines the ministry, reiterating its “call to all parties to stop the fighting and return to political dialogue”.

Are you one of those French people who were evacuated by the authorities? How do you experience this evacuation? How did it go? Were you afraid for your safety until the evacuation operation?
