Anti-Airbnb people plaster owners’ faces on walls

There were hostile tags, posters proclaiming “death to suitcases on wheels”, sort of symbols of weekend tourists fond of Airbnbs, and “the kidnapping” of key boxes. There are now drawn faces, addresses and names of certain owners of furnished tourist accommodation plastered on walls in Marseille, spotted France Blue.

These activists are particularly targeting the Plaine and Panier districts, which concentrate many of the 12,000 Airbnb accommodations listed in Marseille.
