Dortmund (NRW) – A man (35) stabbed his mother (63) to death in front of the neighbors in Dortmund!
The first emergency call was received by the rescue control center on Tuesday at 7:40 p.m. Shortly afterwards, police officers and an emergency doctor stormed into the apartment building and provided assistance First aid. But the woman died on the way to the hospital – she had apparently lost too much blood.
Police officers secured traces of the crime into the night.
▶︎ Neighbors had heard rumbling in the apartment building. When a man looked, he saw the neighbor kneeling on the bleeding woman and choking her. According to the police’s initial findings, the argument began in the apartment. The tenant tried to escape, but was chased by the attacker.
The woman was stabbed several times, including in the neck. The son was arrested without resistance and, according to BILD information, immediately admitted: “I killed my mother.” He was arrested and is due to be brought before the judge on Wednesday.
Prosecutor Maribel Anderson (42): “The background is still unclear. But there are signs that the man is suffering from mental illness.”
forensic scientist police had secured traces of the crime that night and interviewed the first witnesses. The woman’s body will be autopsied later today.
