Good news from Götze! Since Saturday (June 17, 2023) the fans of soccer player Mario Götze (31) and his wife have finally been clear: Ann-Kathrin Götze (33) is pregnant!
On her Instagram account, the wife of the 2014 World Cup hero shared a photo showing her in a tight brown dress. Not to be overlooked: her pregnancy belly.
Nothing had been seen of the baby bump on Ann-Kathrin Götze’s postings from the past few weeks, but Mario Götze’s Eintracht Frankfurt club had already congratulated the couple at the beginning of May 2023.
An official confirmation of the pregnancy by the couple has so far been missing, but thanks to the clear photo it has now been made up without words.
In any case, the list of well-wishers on Instagram is really long: no wonder with 1.8 million followers that Ann-Kathrin alone has on the platform. Even dad Mario Götze left two hearts under his wife’s contribution.
“Congratulations. Are you also doing a gender reveal? I think there will be a second boy,” a curious Instagram user asked under the photo. So far there has been no answer. The date of birth is also unknown.
Ann-Kathrin Götze, née Brömmel, met the then BVB player Mario Götze in 2012. The two married six years later – and their son Rome was born in June 2020. Now the Götzes can look forward to another offspring – and Rome to a sibling. (jm)
