An emperor boa was walking near the bowling alley in Auch

The first one who came face to face with the snake must have had a real fright. This Saturday, the Gers national police were called to Auch after the discovery of an emperor boa which was walking near the bowling alley in Auch, she says on her Facebook page. The Mirande fire brigade animal team was dispatched to capture the snake, which can reach 2.5 to 3 meters in length. The exotic specimen was transferred to the National Veterinary School of Toulouse.

“We recall that the law provides that among animals of non-domestic species, only those appearing on a list fixed by decree can be kept as pets or in the context of breeding”, adds the police. It is not yet known how the reptile ended up there.
