Amy Webb: The woman who explains the future to us – economics

Amy Webb is interested in the future. This applies to all areas of life, including the garden of her home in Baltimore on the east coast of the USA. Webb, the futurologist, started her private project for the plants of the future there. A delivery of genetically modified petunias is currently on its way to her. They glow in the dark. She has also ordered seeds for purple tomatoes, into whose DNA the start-up Norfolk Plant Sciences has incorporated genes from the snapdragon in the laboratory. They are said to be very healthy and look great. Just the thing for Webb. “I love stuff like that,” she says.
