Amber Heard’s attorney told the jury in court how Amber Heard tried to cover up the bruises allegedly inflicted by Johnny Depp. But there was one crucial fact, the truthfulness of which is now being questioned.

In May 2016, Johnny Depp allegedly inflicted massive facial injuries on his ex-wife Amber Heard. Several witnesses, including her former personal assistant Kate James, have stated that they have never seen a bruise on Heard’s face. The reason for this is said to have been a make-up palette that could now be fatal to Amber Heard.

For illustration, Amber Heard’s attorney, Elaine Redehoft, held up a Milani Cosmetics makeup palette during her opening statement on April 12. A camouflage palette known for neutralizing redness and pimples with contrasting colors like green.

Make-up company refutes Heard’s statement

This makeup palette was meant to underscore the message that Amber Heard could have used it to cover up her Johnny Depp battered face so it wouldn’t show. But now the make-up manufacturer “Milani Cosmetics” has spoken on the social media platform TikTok and is shaking the whole statement of the lawyer. Because the manufacturer said clearly that the “concealer kit” should only have come onto the market in December 2017 and therefore it is impossible for Amber Heard to have used it for concealing as early as 2016.

Although the actress’ lawyer did not explicitly name the cosmetics company, she held up exactly this palette. She is also said to have said that this set was said to have been in Plaintiff Heard’s handbag at the time. So far it is unclear whether the cosmetics brand’s statement could have an impact on the lawyer’s statement and thus the process.

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard are suing each other for defamation and damages. The marriage was divorced in 2017. The ex-couple has been back in court in Fairfax for two weeks.
