Amal and George Clooney have been married for eight years. Now she says in an interview: “George is the love of my life.”
Human rights lawyer Amal Clooney (44) has been honored by “Time” magazine as one of the “Women of the Year” 2022. In the accompanying interview with Nobel Peace Prize winner Maria Ressa (58) she spoke about her constant fight against injustice in the world, which she has been fighting for many years together with her husband George Clooney (60). The 44-year-old was really enthusiastic about the Hollywood great, who married her in 2014.
“The marriage is wonderful,” Amal Clooney is quoted as saying. “In my husband, I have a partner who is immensely inspirational and supportive. And we have a home filled with love and laughter.” It was a joy that she could not have imagined better. “I feel so fortunate to have found the love of my life and to be a mom.” They have four-year-old twins Ella and Alexander together.
About a year ago, her husband had spoken in similarly high tones about her and their marriage. “I’m so happy to have met her,” said George Clooney opposite “People”. “We were very lucky, we know that.”
