Alec Baldwin: Police show footage from film set shortly after fatal shot

Watch the video: Police release bodycam footage after death of camerawoman on the set of “Rust”.

Police in Santa Fe, New Mexico, on Monday released video footage of the deadly shooting on a film set in October 2021. During the shooting of the film “Rust” a live shot was apparently released from a prop weapon held by actor Alec Baldwin. A camerawoman was killed by the bullet and the film’s director was injured in the shoulder. The recordings of the body cams show how rescuers first take care of the two victims. Police officers question those present, including Baldwin. Another shot shows Baldwin with police officers in an office. The actor, who was also involved as a producer on the film, has so far only been sentenced to a fine by the occupational safety and health authorities. However, several procedures are still ongoing. Baldwin has denied responsibility for the cinematographer’s death and has repeatedly stressed that live ammunition should never have been allowed on the western set at Bonanza Creek Ranch in New Mexico.
