Summoned this Tuesday by investigators from the 1st district of the judicial police in the context of a case of alleged rape, he was taken into police custody, learns 20 minutes from a source close to the case.
Known for his anti-Macron pamphlet and for having been the lawyer for Russian artist Piotr Pavlenski in the Benjamin Griveaux case, Juan Branco has been the subject since April of an investigation to verify allegations of rape worn by a young woman against him.

A month ago, he published a long message on his Facebook account in which he told of this evening spent with the young 20-year-old model who accuses him today of rape. According to him, their sexual relationship was consensual. He explains that he is shocked and does not understand the reaction of the young woman.
Asked by the Parisian, his lawyer Me Yassine Bouzrou had declared at that time that Juan Branco wanted “to be heard as quickly as possible by the investigators in order to record his version of this story”.
