A wrong-way driver caused an accident on Autobahn 99 near Munich and then simply drove on. A motorist managed to avoid a head-on collision at the last moment on Wednesday morning, but hit a car driving next to him, police said.
The wrong-way driver did not stop to take care of the accident. A patrol stopped the 49-year-old later. When she was arrested, she resisted and kicked an officer in the leg. The woman’s driver’s license was confiscated. According to the police, she now has to answer for endangering road traffic and unauthorized removal from the scene of the accident.
