Drivers must be prepared for restrictions on the A7 heading north today. In the area of the Rader High Bridge, the roadway needs to be renovated at short notice.
According to the federal Autobahn GmbH, several asphalt damages were discovered on the Rader High Bridge during a regular route inspection. These must be eliminated in the short term. Therefore, from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. today, traffic will be routed in a single lane past the workplace between the Rendsburg motorway junction and north of the Büdelsdorf junction (both in the Rendsburg-Eckernförde district).
Safety concerns cause short-term closure
Asphalt work is usually announced well in advance, but Autobahn GmbH wants to repair the recently discovered damage as quickly as possible. This is the only way to guarantee road safety. The Büdelsdorf exit is closed in the north. Traffic will therefore be redirected before the Rendsburg motorway junction. A diversion takes you via the U57. The work should be completed by evening.
