At the beach, safety first for children

How to avoid dangers on the beach? How to react in case of accident or drowning? The mini-rescuers operation organized by Macif for five years resumes its tour of the beaches of France, on the Atlantic and Mediterranean coasts, to introduce children between 7 and 12 years old.

Organized in 24 stages until July 30, these free events supervised by Rescuers at Sea are designed to give children a first level of knowledge by teaching them, for example, how to use rescue equipment or put a victim in a lateral safety position. At the end of the workshop, the young participants leave with a diploma and a mini-lifeguard kit.
