Several individuals, wearing hoods, entered the Marguerite de Valois high school in Angoulême (Charente) this Thursday morning. The police intervened and were able to take control of the situation. A video is circulating on social networks, where we see two individuals attacking a teacher.
According to France Bleu, which was able to contact witnesses on site, four people entered the establishment and attacked a teacher with tear gas, slightly injuring him. According to Free Charente, it would be two individuals who attacked a teacher and sprayed tear gas on the first floor. The teacher and a student were slightly injured.
The Minister of National Education Amélie Oudéa-Castéra confirmed that the situation was under control, but asked to avoid the sector so as not to interfere with the ongoing operation. “Do not go there” also urges the national police on Facebook.
