A schoolgirl dies on her first day of third-year internship

The tragedy occurred Monday in Lingolsheim, a small town in Bas-Rhin, bordering Strasbourg, according to the regional daily Les Latest News from Alsace. A 14-year-old schoolgirl, attending Maxime Alexandre college and who was doing her first day of a third-grade observation internship in a bakery, died.

While she had just started her internship in a bakery, the young girl declared an allergy to one of the products commonly used in the food trade, our colleagues point out.

The young girl was apparently the victim of one of the products commonly used in food stores, causing anaphylactic shock, a sudden allergic reaction.
